Mobile Forensics Challenge 

Hardware Difference

အသုံးပြုတဲ့သူ တစ်ဖြည်းဖြည်းများလာတာနဲ့အမျှ ထုတ်လုပ်တဲ့ Company တွေကနေ User တွေရဲ့ အကြိုက် ငွေတတ်နိုင်မှု အပေါ်ကိုလဲ မူတည်။ ပြီးရင် ထုတ်လုပ်တဲ့ Company အချင်းချင်းပြိင်ဆိုင်မှုတွေကြောင့် Mobile Phone ထုတ်လုပ်မှုကို Short Product  Development Cycle အနေနဲ့သာထုတ်လုပ်ပါတယ်။ 

Mobile Operation System 

လူအများ သုံးနေတဲ့ Window, Mac တွေလိုမဟုတ်ပဲ 

Mobile Operation System တွေက Product အလိုက် Operation S ystem အမျိုးမျိုးကွဲပြားပါတယ်။ 

ဥပမာ 

Android အပေါ်မှာ အခြေခံပေမဲ့ MI ဆို တစ်မျိုး Samsung ဆိုတစ်မျိုး စသည်ဖြင့်ကွဲပြားပါတယ်။ 

Mobile Security Platform Features 

အစဦးပိုင်း Android Version တွေလိုမဟုတ်ပဲ အသုံးပြုသူတွေရဲ့ Security and Privacy တွေကို ‌အလေးပိုထားလာတာကြောင့် Forensics အပိုင်းမှာ အခက်ခဲ‌တွေရှိလာပါတယ်။ Encryption တွေက Hardware Layer တင်မက Software Layer အထိပါ ပါ၀င်လာတဲ့အတွက် အရင်ကလို မလွယ်ကူတော့ပါ။ 

Anti Forensics Techniques

Factory Reset, Secure Wipping , Data- Obfuscation, Data Forgery, Data Hiding, Cloud Storage တွေကြောင့်ပို အခက်ခဲရှိလာပါတယ်။ 

Passcode Recovery 

Phone Service နဲ့ မတူတာက Forensics လုပ်တဲ့နေရာမှာ Passcode လဲကျော်ရုံတင်မက အဓိက အရေးကြီးတဲ့ အတွင်း Data တွေကို မပျက်စီစေဖို့ပါ။

Different Product နဲ့ Different OS တွေကြောင့် ရတာရှိသလို မရတာလဲ ရှိပါတယ်။ 


Lack Of Resources

Commercial Mobike Forensics Product တွေရှိပေမဲ့ Open Source နည်းပါးပါတယ်။ အသုံးပြုရတဲ့ ပစွည်းတွေလဲအများကြီးလိုအပ်ပါတယ်။ Commercial တွေဈေးကြီးရခြင်း အကြောင်းအရင်းက လတိုင်းထွက်ရှိနေတဲ့ Mobile Phone တွေကို Research လုပ်ပေး Product မှာထည့်ပေးရတဲ့ Research စာရိတ်ပါ ပေါင်းယူတာကြောင့်ပါ။ ကျန်တာတွေကတော့ 

Accidental Reset and  Clear Cache, Dynamic nature Of Evidence, Device Alteration, Communication Shielding, တို့ပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

  B-Trees An NTFS index sort attributes into a tree, specifically a B-tree. A tree is a group of data structures called nodes that are linked together such that there is a head node and its branches out to the other nodes. NTFS Index Attributes

  NTFS Index Attributes Now that we have described the general concept of B-trees, we need to describe how they are implemented in NTFS to create indexes. Each entry in the tree uses a data structure called an index entry to store the values in each node. There are many types of index entries, but they all have the same standard header fields, which are given in Chapter 13. For example, a directory index entry contains a few header values and a $FILE_NAME attribute. The index entries are organized into nodes of the tree and stored in a list. An empty entry is used to signal the end of the list. Figure 11.18 shows an example of a node in a directory index with four $FILE_NAME index entries. Figure 11.18. SQLite Database Forensics (Note)

  SQLite ကို Android Phone, Apple Phone , MAC OS, Window တို့မှာ အချို့ Application တွေရဲ့ Data တွေကို  သိမ်းဆည်းဖို့ အများဆုံးအသုံးပြုပါတယ်။  Message Application တွေဖြစ်တဲ့ Viber, Telegram, What App , Skype,  Messenger စတဲ့ Message Application တွေက Desktop Version ပဲဖြစ်ဖြစ် Mobile Version ပဲ ဖြစ်ဖြစ် SQLite Database ကို အသုံးပြုပါတယ်။  ဒါ့အပြင် Contact, Call Log , Message (SMS)  စတာတွေမှာ SQLite Database ကို အသုံးပြုပါတယ်။ Window ဆိုရင်လဲ Browser တွေရဲ့ History  , Window Timeline History ကိုသိမ်းဆည်းတဲ့နေရာ Mac OS ဆိုရင်လဲ အဓိကကျတဲ့ Artifacts တွေကို သိမ်းဆည်းတဲ့နေရာမှာအများဆုံးအသုံးပြုပါတယ်။  SQLite မှာ Journal File 2 File ရှိပါတယ်။ Journal File  Write-Ahead Log (WAL) File   Journal File  Database မှာ ရှိတဲ့ Data တွေကို Page အနေနဲ့ သိမ်းထားပြီး Page Size က‌တော့ Developer သတ်မှတ်တဲ့ အတိုင်းရှိပါတယ်။ Default ကတော့ 4096 Bytes ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ Database တစ်ခုထဲမှာ ရှိတဲ့ Page File တွေက Same Size ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ Page-1 က 4096 Bytes ဆိုရင် ကျန်တဲ့ Page တွေကလဲ 4096 Bytes ပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ Database ထဲမှာ Pag
